If your company is registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST), your GST number should appear on every invoice you issue.
This helps your invoices meet tax requirements and gives your customers the details they need for their accounting records.
GST numbers are used in countries such as Canada, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Singapore. In Canada, they are commonly referred to as GST/HST numbers.
Sufio lets you add your company’s GST number to your company profile and display it on invoices automatically.
To add your company’s GST number:
- In your Sufio account, go to the Settings → Company Profile page.
- Enter your GST number in the GST Number field.
- Make sure the GST registered checkbox is checked.
The GST Number field is only visible if your company address is set to a country that uses GST numbers.
