In India, GST-registered businesses are required to include their Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) on invoices.
This helps your invoices meet local tax requirements and gives your customers the details they need for their accounting records.
Sufio is an invoicing app for Shopify stores that lets you add your company’s GSTIN to your company profile and display it on invoices automatically.
To add your company’s GSTIN:
- In your Sufio account, go to the Settings → Company Profile page.
- Enter your GSTIN in the GSTIN field.
- Make sure the GSTIN registered checkbox is checked.
Once your GSTIN has been added and the GSTIN registered checkbox is checked, Sufio will automatically include your GSTIN on all new invoices.
