Downgrading your Sufio plan

You can downgrade your Sufio plan at any time, even if you've already used more than the lower plan's allowance this month. The change applies as soon as you approve it in Shopify, and your existing documents stay in your account.

Downgrade your plan

To downgrade your Sufio plan:

  1. In your Sufio account, go to the Settings → Account & Billing page.
  2. In the Your plan section, click Change plan.
  3. Next to the lower plan, click Change plan.
  4. Review and approve the new charge in Shopify.
  5. Return to your Sufio account.

Your new plan and its allowance apply immediately.

What you keep after downgrading

  • All your existing documents stay in your account.
  • Credit notes and quotes created on your higher plan can still be viewed, edited, downloaded, and sent. If your new plan doesn't include them, you just can't create new ones.
  • Settings from your higher plan stay in place but become read-only.

Note

Invoices you created this month on your higher plan stay available. New invoices over your new plan's monthly allowance are locked as usual. See what happens when you exceed your plan limit.

Charges and credits

Shopify handles billing when you downgrade. If you downgrade partway through a billing cycle, Shopify gives you an application credit for the unused part of your higher plan. The credit appears on your Shopify bill and is used toward future app charges.
