Most unexpected Sufio charges come from how Shopify bills apps, not from a billing error. Below, you'll find answers to the most common questions, with links to more detailed articles.

Learn how your store's status in Shopify affects your Sufio charges.
Shopify bills apps for a billing cycle that has already started, and that charge appears on your next Shopify bill. Uninstalling Sufio stops future charges, but it doesn't remove a charge that was already generated.
Refunds for Sufio charges are handled by Sufio, not Shopify. New accounts include a 30-day money-back guarantee. Once those 30 days have passed, charges are not refundable, but if you believe you were charged by mistake, contact our support team and we'll look into it.
Sufio charges are always in USD. If your Shopify bill is in another currency, Shopify shows a converted amount, which can change with exchange rates. If you changed plans during the month, your bill may also include a prorated charge or a credit.
If Shopify is required to charge tax in your region, it adds tax to your account charges, and this can include app charges such as Sufio. The tax appears on your Shopify bill. For questions about tax on your Shopify bill, contact Shopify Support.
Only the store owner, or staff with the Approve app charges permission in Shopify, can approve app charges. Ask your store owner to approve the charge or give you this permission.
This usually happens for one of these reasons:
- You upgraded during the billing cycle, so Shopify added a prorated charge for your new plan.
- You use e-invoicing, which is billed per use, separately from your plan.
- E-invoicing usage from the end of one Sufio billing period appears on the next Shopify bill because the two cycles don't line up.
Pausing your Shopify store doesn't stop app charges. To avoid them, uninstall Sufio before you pause your store.
Yes. When you close or deactivate your Shopify store, Shopify automatically uninstalls all your apps, including Sufio, which cancels your Sufio subscription. Any outstanding Sufio charges are charged when your store closes.
No. Uninstalling Sufio is the only way to stop Sufio charges. Your data is kept, and reinstalling Sufio takes you back to your account.
In your Shopify admin, go to the Settings → Billing page. In your Sufio account, go to the Settings → Account & Billing page. Both are covered step by step in our guide to how Sufio billing works on Shopify.
Sufio charges are billed by Shopify, so your Shopify bill is the invoice for them. Sufio doesn't issue a separate invoice. To download your bills, go to the Settings → Billing page in your Shopify admin.
