Upgrading your Sufio plan

You can upgrade your Sufio plan at any time. The new plan applies as soon as you approve the charge in Shopify, and any invoices locked by your old plan's limit are unlocked straight away.

Upgrade your plan

To upgrade your Sufio plan:

  1. In your Sufio account, go to the Settings → Account & Billing page.
  2. In the Your plan section, click Change plan.
  3. Next to the plan you want, click Change plan.
  4. Review and approve the new charge in Shopify.
  5. Return to your Sufio account.

Your new plan and its allowance apply immediately.

Approve the charge in Shopify

Every plan change takes you to Shopify's approval screen because Shopify allows only one active recurring charge per app. Your previous charge is canceled and replaced by the new one. Nothing changes until you approve it.

Only the store owner, or staff with the Approve app charges permission in Shopify, can approve the charge. If you can't approve it, ask your store owner to approve the plan change or give you this permission.

Turning on e-invoicing (or approving a new e-invoicing spending cap) also goes through the same approval screen.

Note

If you upgrade during your free trial, your remaining trial days carry over, so upgrading doesn't start billing early.

How the upgrade is charged

Shopify prorates the upgrade based on the price difference and the number of days left in your billing cycle.

For example, if you upgrade from the Growth plan ($19 / month) to the Professional plan ($49 / month) on day 15 of a 30-day cycle, you're charged $19 + ($49 − $19) × 15/30 = $34 for that cycle.
