Why was I charged after uninstalling Sufio?

A Sufio charge can appear on your Shopify bill even after you uninstall the app. This is standard Shopify behavior for every app billed through Shopify, and it happens because the charge was generated before you uninstalled.

Why this happens

Shopify generates each app charge at the start of the app's 30-day billing cycle and adds it to your next Shopify bill. If you uninstall Sufio after the charge is generated, but before your next bill is issued, the charge still appears on that bill.

Uninstalling Sufio stops all future charges, but it doesn't remove a charge that has already been generated.

What happens when you uninstall Sufio

When you uninstall Sufio, we close your Sufio plan and cancel your subscription in Shopify straight away, so no new billing cycle starts.

Note

If you see a Sufio charge for a billing cycle that started after you uninstalled, that isn't expected. Contact our support team so we can look into it.

Check the charge

To check whether a charge is pending or already paid:

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to the Settings → Billing page.
  2. Click View current charges to see charges that will appear on your next bill.
  3. Check the Past bills section to see charges you've already paid.

If you'd like to dispute the charge, you can request a refund or credit for a Sufio charge.
