Shopify has a range of keyboard shortcuts for users who want to do things quickly. Mastering these is one of the simplest ways to visibly improve your day-to-day productivity, giving you more time to focus on growing your business.
To see a list of available keyboard shortcuts, log in to your Shopify admin and press the ? key.
Using the shortcuts is simple: type out the desired key combination as it appears in the list from left to right. Shopify will then recognize the sequence and forward you to your chosen page.
The full sequence of keys must be pressed within one second to register as a shortcut.
Tip
Please note that capital letters will not be properly recognized, so ensure you’re not in the caps lock mode.Have you ever found yourself clicking through all your orders, frantically looking for one small detail to no avail?
You can leverage the multi-purpose search bar in Shopify by pressing the S key for quick and easy searches.
Do you have lots of apps installed and want to access them quickly? Try the O A shortcut, which opens the Shopify app browser.
A list of all your installed apps will appear, with a full-text search on top.
How many times a day do you find yourself clicking through the sidebar just to add a product, order, or discount?
With these keyboard shortcuts, you can jump to the desired pages quickly, cutting down any time you would otherwise waste clicking all over the page.
Finished your work for the day? Use the B Y E shortcut to log out of the Shopify admin and enjoy a well-deserved rest.
