Set up a custom sender email address

By default, Sufio sends invoices to your customers on behalf of the email address in your company profile. You can specify a custom email address with a custom display name.

You can specify a custom sender email address with a custom display name, for example, ACME Shop Invoices <invoices@acmeshop.com>. The display name will show in your customer’s email client in the From field instead of the email address.

Note

Custom sender email addresses are only available in the Professional plan and higher.

To set a custom sender email address in your Sufio account:

  1. In your Sufio account, go to SettingsEmails page.
  2. The Sender email is empty by default. This means that the email address on the Settings → Company Profile page is used as the sender email.
  3. You may want to use a different email address and a display name:
    • If you enter the sender email address only, for example, <invoices@acmeshop.com>, the sender display name remains your account name.
    • If you enter the sender email address and a custom display name, for example, ACME Shop Invoices <invoices@acmeshop.com>, both sender email address and sender display name will change.

Caution

If you have a DMARC policy set up for your email domain, and you use ASPF or ADKIM tags, make sure that the sender address domain matches the domain in your DNS records.
