Export document data

Sufio lets you easily export your document data in a single CSV (comma-separated values) file.

A CSV file is a plain text file that separates data with commas for more compact storage. It’s compatible with spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, making it easy to transfer data between programs that can’t make this exchange directly.

This is useful if you send your documents to be processed by an external accountant who uses different software.

Export a single document’s data

To export the data of a single document:

  1. In your Sufio account, go to the Documents page.
  2. Check the checkbox next to the single invoice whose data you want to export.
  3. Click on the MoreExport button.
  4. A CSV file with the document data will be downloaded.

Export the data of multiple documents

If you export the data of multiple documents in bulk regularly, you may find it helpful to filter your documents. You can use the smart search feature or filter documents by their issue date (for example, created in a specific month or year) or status (paid, sent), and then export the selected ones.

To export the data of multiple documents in bulk:

  1. In your Sufio account, go to the Documents page.
  2. Check the checkboxes next to all the documents you want to export.
  3. Click on the MoreExport button.
  4. A new request will be created and queued. You can track its progress on the Downloads page by clicking on the Download icon in the upper bar.
  5. A CSV file will be downloaded. If you export data for ten or more invoices, a CSV file will be sent to your email address.

The collection will remain accessible for 30 days. On the Downloads page, you can see your previous bulk requests and re-download them.
